HP 1200 series printer. New toner, clean sheets for awhile, then dark horizontal lines on printed page..help?

How frequent are the lines? Are there about 3 per page? If so then that is about the revolution of the drum in your toner cartridge.. If it is more frequent, it could be your fuser (That is what 'bakes' the toner to the page) there should be a removable felt cleaner that you should make sure isn't in too bad of shape. You may also want to try to clean your charger wire (there should be a thin wire right before it gets to the toner cartrige which charges the paper to repel the toner) To be honest, it would really help to see the paper, I used to be able to trouble shoot a laser printer immedialty after seeing it...HP 1200 series printer. maybe check your fuser assy. it had a defective part on it, if the fuser film is torn , all your printout will have a straight black lines

click ';start menu'; go ';Printer and Faxes'; and see if u see your printer . If u do , then check below it in light writtings if it is written ';online or ';offline'; if it shows u 'offline' then u will have to install the printer all over again, if u have windows XP then u can go to ';start menu'; then 'all programs' then ';accesories'; then ';system tools'; then ';system restore'; and restore your computer to a day earlier. if will solve your problemMy printer had a paper jam. so i drawn the paper. after i put toner into the printer but printer not work?

by pulling out paper you have upset printer head alignment

Laser Color Printer... Invalid Toner?

I just replaced a black toner with a ReFill Toner and I got a message from the Printer said '; Black Toner Invalid'; Anyone know how to fix it or what cause the problem... my printer model is SamSung CLX3160FN Color Laser.Laser Color Printer... Invalid Toner?
You can't actually just refill a toner. You need to change out chips and mechanical parts.

The problem is most likely that the chip is expired and needs to be replaced.

If you cannot find a replacement chip you will need to replace the toner.

How do i recycle Lanier printer toners?

I think Lanier is now Ricoh - so i guess you could request Ricoh for information on how to recycle them.

  • Toner cartridge capacity for new cartridge v. one that came with printer. ?

My Canon printer cost $29 at walmart. To purchase new toner for it would cost over $40.

Is this new cartridge more full than the ones that come with the printer? If not, is there any reason I shouldn't just buy a new printer each time my ink runs out? Toner cartridge capacity for new cartridge v. one that came with printer. ?
In general, the toner that come with the printer is called a ';starter cartridge';, and contains less stuff than normal or high-cap toners.

Why not look into refill kits? Toner cartridge capacity for new cartridge v. one that came with printer. ?
The cartridges you get with the printer are often trial cartirdges which are only rated to print a fraction of the pages the new one would. The largest Trail cartridges currently being marketed is by Canon, however it is only 25% of the ink a new cartridge would have.

What is the cheapest online store for computer printer inks and toners?

Obviously when I mean cheap they do not have to be original. Compatible will be fine. What is the cheapest online store for computer printer inks and toners?

Thank you for the points. I hope you get on fine with Ink and Stuff. In the past if I have had to telephone to query anything, they are thoroughly nice people to talk to as well. I never use anybody else. Report Abuse

Inkandstuff is a great website. Sometime i'll price shop them though with http://officeinks.com. Both companies have been great to deal with. I'll see which one has free shipping. I know what you are thinking,';where is my loyalty?'; Report Abuse

A good question. We would all like to know if there is such a shop
I have found Wilkinsons (if you have one in your area) sells ink cartridges the same price as ink and stuff. And I have got them cheaper sometimes on Amazon. Sorry just realised you said ONLINE store
I don't know if you are registered on eBay but there's a seller with 100% positive feedback on there which I always use for inkjet cartridges etc:

I find his stuff is cheaper than anywhere I've seen so far and, what's more, the p%26amp;p is often free! Delivery time is good and all the inks are originals in their sealed packs. I bought my last Lexmark cartridge for just over 拢14. Check it out!

http://www.stinkyinkshop.co.uk is one of the cheapest, but to be honest I found Ebay the best....

Will buying non-Dell toner cartridges for my Dell colour laser void the 3-year warranty on the printer?

I have noticed remanufactured cartridges for much cheaper and before I buy I want to make sure I won't void the remaining warranty on the printerWill buying non-Dell toner cartridges for my Dell colour laser void the 3-year warranty on the printer?
The warranty is only void if there is damage caused by the cartridges. As long as you are using a reputable dealer - you will be fine.

Also - read the fine print in your warranty, there is probably a very big SCREW you in there such as dell will only cover manufacturers defect as determined by them and you have to pay for the cost of shipping (they usually prefer UPS). Given the Size and weight of a printer you can imagine - shipping isn't cheap. Will buying non-Dell toner cartridges for my Dell colour laser void the 3-year warranty on the printer?
Yes most probably, it does most other printers that I've used.
Yes if they know you have.but you havnt
