How to troubleshoot no toner HP printer?

model:HP deskjet 3920How to troubleshoot no toner HP printer?
a deskjet 3920 CANNOT show ';no toner'; as it is an inkjet printer and uses INK, not a laser printer using toner.

However as the ink was ';refilled'; I'd hazzard a guess that the chip on the cartridge was not reset to ';full'; so the printer now believes it to be totally empty and stops.

Contact whoever refilled it, or if you did it yourself, go buy a new ink cartridge. How to troubleshoot no toner HP printer?
Mine shows me the levels of the two cartridges at the commencement of each printing, it has said that my color has been empty for while but it still produces color copies, the factory cartridges contain less toner than the replacements that you buy because this is were the real money is made in this business you should be able to access the levels if you go to your printing preferences, you may have asked it not to show the levels, but you can turn this feature back on. If it is indeed empty it is simple to replace
If it makes you feel any better, I am having the same problem (sort of). My deskjet 3900 says that there is no toner, so it won't print my documents... but it will print a test page just fine! Rediculous. I don't care if it uses ink or toner, that's a useless thing to even talk about - it happens and this stinks.
