check to see if there are any debris inside the printer, then check the rollers of the printer to see if they are worn out and need to be replaced.Printer Problem - I have a Dell 1100 printer and just got the toner replaced,?
Some gears are broken.

Need to take it to a service center.
Go with Lexmark,

It doesn't always pay to shop thriftly
yes through it on the floor and then restart the printer, it will work

Kidding
i'd try putting the old cartridge back just to see if the noise goes, if it does it's a faulty cartridge, so take it back. I have known it happen several times, if you've chucked it try turning the gear on the cartridge with your thumb, it will be stiff but should turn, if you can't get it to move at all it's seized so get it changed.
did you remove the tab that hold the toner in place? Sounds like the paper is trying to feed and is hitting something.
