I replaced the toner on my new Brother HL 2040 laser printer, and now it won't work.?
The ink looks very faint after a few pages. If I roll the blue thing on the drum, it looks better for about 5 pages, then does the same thing again. Did I mess up the drum somehow? Is the toner bad?I replaced the toner on my new Brother HL 2040 laser printer, and now it won't work.?

The Brother TN115 toner cartridges are some of the toughest cartridges to remanufacture and are known to have chip issues. It is suggested that for all Brother printer that use TN110 and TN115 toner that only OEM Brother BRAND cartridges be used. Read more here - Compatible versus OEM Toner
