I think this is a telemarketing scam. It's alleged that this company, with some human engineering, gets the names of purchasing agents and orders printer toner with out there knowledge. The recycled toner cartridges are 300% to 400% over priced and it's hoped that accounting will just pay the bill without asking questions. Does this sound familiar?Has anyone ever done business with a company phone marketing printer toner named ';Datatek Group'; or ';CSI INC';?
Yes it does.
Never accept an inbound call regarding your supplies.
Any company that calls you and asks you to order or places and order for you is not a company you want to be dealing with when it comes to consumables.
Always verify prices and have them fax over an invoice.
